About Wateree River Events
Nestled along the Wateree River, with over a mile of riverfront scenic views, our Venue is located in Kershaw County, minutes from I20. Protected by the Congaree Land Trust under a Conservation Easement, our property is filled with forested wetlands and hills and provides habitat for a variety of animals including bobcats, deer, bald eagles, ducks, and wild turkeys. A golden eagle, a rarity in South Carolina, has been spotted on our land. Speers Creek also runs through our property.
Our riverfront tented space with elegant draping, string lighting and a breathtaking chandelier can accommodate up to 300 guests. We host weddings, corporate and private parties, sports and church activities. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering or a grand event, our picturesque setting provides the perfect backdrop for any celebration, creating unforgettable memories overlooking the breathtaking Wateree River.
